The total score for the National English Level 4 Examination is 710 points, and there is no passing score set for this exam. The Ministry of Education, through the National University English Level Four-Six Examination Committee, will issue score reports to candidates who have scored 220 points or above. The exam consists of four parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, translation, and writing. Listening comprehension and reading comprehension each account for 35% of the total score, with a value of 248.5 points. Translation and writing each account for 15% of the total score, with a value of 106.5 points.
