Dota2 Auto Chess, also known as Dota Underlords, is a Dota2 gameplay variant created by players who designed their own custom maps. It combines strategic card game mechanics with the Dota2 custom map feature, supporting games with 1-8 players. In Dota2 Auto Chess, the 8 participating players are assigned to 8 different chessboards. Each round, players select chess pieces from a pool, strategically combining them to form unique compositions. They then compete against both other players and AI-controlled monsters to earn gold, purchase more chess pieces, and continuously strengthen their compositions in order to achieve victory.
