1、Buddha is the transliteration of the Sanskrit word, and the Pali word is the same. It has various full names such as Buddha, Budai, Xiu Tu, Fu Tuo, Fu Tu, Fu Tu, Fu Tou, Me Tuo, Bo Tuo, Bo Tuo, Bu Ta, Bu Da, Bu De. It can also be translated as “awakening” or “awakened one”. It refers to those who have fully awakened and understood the truth, achieved self-awakening, awakened others, and perfected their practice, realizing the true nature of all phenomena. They are the great saints who have achieved supreme enlightenment in Buddhist practice.

3、Both Buddhism and Jainism use the title “Buddha” to honor their founders and to refer to those who have attained true liberation. However, the most commonly referred to Buddha is Shakyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
