Tips for answering English CET-6 Reading Comprehension Questions:
1. Read the questions carefully and underline key words.
2. Look for proper nouns (names, places, organizations, countries) and graphical figures, as these can help you quickly locate the relevant information in the text.
3. If the answers are not directly stated, use the nouns, noun phrases, verbs, verb phrases, adjectives, and adjective phrases in the questions to determine the content and then locate it in the passage.
4. Answer the questions in the order they are given in the test.
5. The order of the questions in the English CET-6 test is consistent with the order in the passage. Therefore, when answering a question, don’t answer them one by one, but rather answer them in pairs, matching the context before and after, so as to locate the information more effectively.
In CET-6 Reading Comprehension, it’s important to manage your time wisely. If you encounter difficult questions, you can set them aside and mark the related parts in the passage. You can then complete the rest of the questions and come back to the difficult ones later. Remember to aim to finish the Reading section within 30 minutes, allocating around 15 minutes for each passage. Avoid using phrases such as “worth mentioning is” or “on top of that” in your response.
