A larger world is the English translation for “更大的世界”. English is a Germanic language that originated in medieval England and became the most widely spoken language in the world due to its vast colonial territories. The ancestors of the English people were the Anglo-Saxon tribes, one of the Germanic tribes that later migrated to the British Isles and became known as England. Both names, England and Anglo-Saxon, derive from Anglia, a region in the Baltic Peninsula. The language is closely related to Frisian and Low Saxon, with its vocabulary influenced by other Germanic languages, particularly the North Germanic languages, and greatly influenced by Latin and French writings.
